People on Cell Phones While Walking to Class

There is not a day that goes by that I am either pushed off the sidewalk or ran into by someone on their cell phone. People are always talking on the cell phone or trying to text while walking. I wouldn't mind it if these people actually looked up once in a while to see if someone was coming towards them. Instead their focus is to look straight down at their phones and not pay attention to what is going on. I really wish people would stop focusing on their phones and start focusing on where they are walking.

  1. This is something that really annoys me. Every day I have to move so that someone on the phone doesn’t walk right into me. Even better is when a group of people are walking taking up the whole path and they don’t move. So then you have to walk in the grass to walk past them. There are more of them they should move!

  2. I agree it is crazy. I am not a big techonology guy to begin with but i really believe a lot of people would not be able to live without there cellphone. I think the next generation of humans thumbs are going to be about 5 inches longer than today's generation. It does irritate me a little bit because i love activity and being outdoors. Sometimes i think techonology is a big factor in the health problems are country is facing. But i guess im just going to have to get used to it.
